Level A, 1st place - Bridge General
Hey, Ric! Did you expect that? Being ahead of the competition
by more than $ 2.250? I didn't. When this bridge reached my
account as the first legit entry, I though competition will be
very close this time. Contrary to my expectations (and I
suppose to Ric's as well) no one else found a similar solution.
Zoltan is the only participant heading for a resembling
solution (i.e. without using the ground anchors), but he missed
the chance to combine this with the Calis-style cable support,
otherwise he could have made a podium place (if you are
wondering now what Calis-style means, have look at the Contest-1
results). All hail Ricleite, current leader in the Hall of
Fame! This is your sixth (!) gold medal!
Having built a Level-A-bridge for <12k, it
was easy (for Ric) to get below 30k for both bridges. So,
everyone take a very deep breath, please (especially those
having built a Level-B-bridge), lean back and go on to ...
