Clean, 1st place - Bridge General
Enter the ultimate optimization :) By employing a technique that's not really well-known (at least when used on Pontifex II bridges) - which is attaching loose beams to the bridge to reduce the stress on the other beams - Nick has clearly produced the cheapest solution to my level. This technique was so daring that I felt some of you might say 'hey, it's a flaw in the game engine - that's not allowed!', so I asked Nick to try and build an alternate version of his bridge, without the loose beams. I know, this isn't exactly a new trick, and it has already been used to win contests in the past (by yours truly :) ), but there was no rule forbidding 'exploitation of game engine flaws or bugs' back then. Everyone is welcome to discuss this topic in the forum. Lucky for Nick, his alternate bridge was almost as cheap as the original, so he really won the first place, in any case. Congratulations!

Dirty, 1st place - Bridge Don
Yeah, you guessed it - completing the line of double medal winners, Nick also grabs the first place in the 'dirty' category, and that's without the 'last deck section' trick! The good old 'lean against the ground' technique is still a very good money saver in Pontifex II, and here's the impressive proof. Only one question remains: What are you going to do with two more CL games, Nick? :)
