Introduction
With only 21 bridges submitted (6 disqualified "additional" bridges), it seems that interest in Pontifex I may finally be fading. It's a shame, as this contest proves that it's still possible to come up with new levels and rules that require original bridge designs.
Of course, I'm talking about the clean contest, where each submitted bridge was unique. My inexperience with Pontifex allowed me to miss the cable-supported dirty bridge design, if I had to do it again, I'd add another rule: "An anchor point may only attach to one type of material." That's not to say the dirty contest was a total loss, it's winner came up with a technique to beat the competition by quite a large margin!
One interesting fact about Contest 15: Everyone that participated is already a member of the Hall of Fame, so while there were only few submissions, the competition was fierce!
